2014 Value Of Construction Put In Place Reaches $961.4 Billion

The annual spending rate for construction hit an all-time high for the year in December at $982.1 billion, seasonally adjusted. Total construction put in place for 2014 hit $961.4 billion, the highest post-recession value and the fourth consecutive year of increase.
